Are reservations required?
YES. Our reservation process will help us serve you better! 

 

How far in advance should I reserve my suite?
We recommend that you make reservations as soon as you have planned your trip. Canine Retreat is a small retreat. During certain times of the year we will book quickly. Reservations are taken on a first-come first-serve basis.

 

What do I need to check in?

  1. Shot Records - We ask that you work with your veterinarian to get this information before the day of arrival. We take the health of your pet and our other guests seriously. We make “no exceptions” to our vaccination policies.
  2. Personal Items - Beds, Chew toys, any manageable item that will help your pet enjoy their stay.
  3. Contact numbers - Where you can be reached during your pets’ vacation with us.
  4. Medicine - We will be glad to give your pet any needed medication free of charge.

Can I bring my own food?
We request that you bring your pets’ food. A steady diet allows for happy
guests.

 

Can I have a tour of the retreat?
YES. We love to show off our retreat. Tours are always welcome. Give us a call to schedule your private tour

Is Canine Retreat air-conditioned?

Yes. We are heated in the Winter and air conditioned in the Summer.

What would a daily schedule be at the retreat?

Feedings are done according to your dog’s schedule. Generally, 6:30 am and 6:30 pm. Play time is usually as follows: 6-7:30am, 11am-1pm, 4-6pm, 7pm and 10pm.

 

Are there any additional charges on top of the nightly rate?

No. Your rate is all inclusive. There are no additional fees for administering medicines, special food needs or playtime.

 

What methods of payment do you accept?

WE ACCEPT CASH AND CHECKS. Payments must be made in full at time of pick-up.

 

Can I check in on my pet?

Yes. You are welcome to contact us anytime. If we are not available at the time of your call, we will give you a call back.
